Managed by the Tax-Free World Association (TFWA) and hosted by Dufry Ghana, this year's MEADFA Conference marks a milestone as it was organised in Ghana and in West Africa for the first time, highlighting the importance of growth and opportunities within the African market. The conference served as a hub for networking, industry insights sharing, discussions on challenges and opportunities, and exploration of emerging trends, fostering collaborations within the duty-free and travel retail sectors. The attendees represented a diverse spectrum, including retailers, brands, industry professionals, government regulatory bodies and media outlets.
