Elegance is Rakh’s signature, with spicy amplitude on a woody foundation. First Madagascan Clove and Black Pepper is imprinted on majestic wood, straddling Haitian Vetiver and Cedar. Then, Grapefruit essence sparkles for more golden radiance and light. Like a chiaroscuro, fruity hints like Apple and a floral touch nuance, the deep trail tinted with Musk and Somali sacred Incense.

For Olivier Pescheux, the work of the perfumer is comparable to that of a sculpture, cutting away the raw material to reveal unexpected wonders. He particularly appreciates natural ingredients of which he knows the history, those he has seen growing and being harvested in the fields – orange blossom from Tunisia or Ylang-Ylang from Comoros for example –, histories that are olfactory as much as they are human.
